The on-screen title calls the film "Furious 6," but all the advertising refers to the film as "Fast & Furious 6."
The crew of Fast & Furious 6 got together again after an elapsing period of 14 years since their first film.
Diesel has hit various wheels over the course of six films but red Chevelle is his darling babe. To give it a special place in his life, he presented its keys to his one year old daughter on her birthday, coincidently sharing her birthday and film release on the same date.
Being an action film, it witnessed many car action sequences that were not very safe to shoot. Diesel almost died filming the scene where he had to drive through a wall of smoke and unaware of the tanks filled with gas, he reached the gas tanks and felt like two giant fireballs hitting his car. The actor did not suffer any injuries owing to the blessings of his million fans.
Including the main cast, six more characters typically villains are added to the film to impart flavor to the movie plot. The concept was to create a true antagonist with a valid philosophy who could stand right across from Dom and really challenge his philosophy.
The concept of implementing 2D effects instead of 3D effects assisted the film to retain its originality, old look and aesthetic.
Although Fast & Furious 6 is Director Justin Lin's swan song to the franchise but his affect on the film series is amazing, expanding the range and style of action the fans throb for. James Wan will take up the driver’s seat for the Fast & Furious 7, scheduled to be release on July 11, 2014.
